Steamboat Springs has more than 70 bars and restaurants, offering visitors a variety of ways to satisfy their taste buds. As the town is known for its Western flair, Steamboat is a great place to sample elk, buffalo, or Rocky Mountain oysters. Come experience the international flair of our many specialty restaurants, including Italian, Mexican, French, Japanese, Pacific Rim or eclectic mixes. On Mountain Dining

All the ingredients for an exceptional evening come together at Hazie's. Elegance and atmosphere combine to make this a dinner you'll always remember. This high alpine bistro, named for Hazie Werner, mother of three Olympians, offers the perfect setting to savor a special continental dinner while enjoying the sparkling lights of the Yampa Valley below. Experience the quintessential Colorado evening. Let the Steamboat Gondola whisk you to a waiting sleigh that draws you underneath starry skies to Ragnar's. Enjoy a five-course continental cuisine dinner with a Scandinavian flavor and live acoustic entertainment. Ragnar's Sleigh Ride Dinners are offered most Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and additional holiday evenings only. Children ages 5 and under are not recommended.
Western BBQ (970-871-5150)
Steamboat's Original Western Style BBQ Buffet at the top of the Steamboat gondola. Come on up and enjoy an all you can eat "Family Style BBQ Buffet" with a full service bar. There is dancing to the music of a live country/western band until 10:00pm. Open three nights a week - Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy a complimentary ride on the Steamboat Gondola and experience an evening of western hospitality plus an outstanding view of the Yampa Valley below. Bear River Bar & Grill (970-871-5150)
In the heart of Gondola Square, The Bear features indoor and outdoor seating, happy hour specials as well as live aprés-ski music throughout the season and is an ideal place for lunch or aprés-ski festivities. Open for lunch and aprés-ski daily.
The Butcher Shop (970-879-2484)
The elegant Old West surroundings will spoil the senses leaving nothing to the imagination. Offering Black Angus beef, Colorado wild game specialties and fresh seafood, The Bucher Shop Steakhouse has truly earned its reputation as one of Steamboat’s best restaurants under the same ownership for 36 years. Open nightly for dinner.
The Cabin (970-871-5550)
Award Winning Colorado Cuisine featuring Chef Chris Wyant's unique interpretation of High Alpine Cuisine of the finest aged Midwestern Prime Beef, Chops, Native Wild Game and jet fresh seafood, all served in a comfortable Rocky Mountain setting complimented with an incredible selection of wines and delicious desserts. The Cabin has received the prestigious Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for 2002, 2003, and 2004, is open nightly for dinner.

Chef Kate Rench creates a new menu for each season with the freshest, all natural market ingredients available. This popular restaurant offers world influenced classic cuisine, organic produce, naturally raised meats and wild seafood. In addition, Café Diva offers an extensive wine cellar and a staff of three certified Sommeliers. Open nightly for dinner and reservations are recommended.

Decor pays tribute to the authentic cowboys and rodeos of Colorado and the West. Chaps offers a grand variety of food and beverage selections in a relaxed and casual setting. Stop in daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or aprés-ski specials. Chaps is the perfect spot to begin your day or start your evening!
Dos Amigos (970-879-4270)
A local tradition since 1975, Dos offers authentic Interior Mexican and American Southwestern cuisine with a Latin Infusion. Offering daily specials, a sundeck and happy hour until 6 pm, this is a great Mexican aprés-ski and dinner restaurant in Ski Times Square.
Saketumi (970-870-1019)
Steamboat's own Asian fusion restaurant and sushi bar caters to the needs of land-locked sushi lovers and their raw-wary friends. With the freshest of fish arriving daily, an extensive wine and Sake menu and a creative sushi menu, this is a local’s favorite you shouldn’t miss. Open daily at 5 pm.
Slopeside Grill (970-879-2916)
With over 75 menu items including pasta dishes, baby back ribs and the locals’ favorite specialty pizzas baked in an authentic Italian brick oven, there is something for everyone. Named Rolling Stone Magazines’ “best place to meet for aprés-ski on the mountain,” Slopeside is famous for good times. Open daily from 11 am until bar close.

Offering Steamboat’s best live entertainment nightly from 9:30 to bar close, The Tugboat also serves affordable lunch and dinners and offers a great aprés-ski scene with a sundeck in addition to the live bands and dancing. Open daily from 11:30 am to bar close.

Featuring new American cuisine in the historic Rehder building offering fireplace dining and a martini bar. This restaurant has been given the award of excellence from Wine Spectator Magazine and offers great cuisine in a fine-dining atmosphere.
Beau Jo’s Mountain Bistro (970-870-6401)
Home of Colorado’s Favorite Pizza for more than 30 years. Offering a weekday lunch buffet, dine in or take out, outdoor seating and take n bake pizzas, Beau Jo’s is a great family dining experience offering the one and only “mountain pie.”
Cottonwood Grill (970-879-2229)

Located in the historically designed Soda Creek Building, Giovanni's is Steamboat's premiere Italian restaurant specializing in steaks, chops, seafood & wine. Recipient of the 2004 Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence, they offer a full bar and accommodating staff. Open daily for dinner.

Steamboat's best breakfast and lunch restaurant serving breakfast with a Creole theme. Locally owned and operated, Lucile's features unique Cajun and Creole breakfast and lunches along with standard breakfast fare. Open daily for breakfast and lunch until 2 pm.
Mahogany Ridge (970-879-3773)
A full service microbrewery and restaurant that offers an eccentric menu and fresh, handcrafted beers including “Alpenglow Ale.” They offer a full bar, extensive wine list, creative vegetarian selections and live music every Friday and Saturday night. Open daily from 4 pm till bar close.

A family style Italian restaurant serving New York style pizza and authentic immigrant recipe pasta dishes. Featured in Food & Wine Magazine as one of the “best ski town restaurants”, Mambo offers fine wines, flavorful family recipes and friendly service in a lively atmosphere. Ore House at the Pine Grove (970-879-1190)
The Ore House at the Pine Grove is a 100 year old historical barn that was converted into a restaurant in 1971, and is now just 'bout the oldest established restaurant in town. Famous for wonderful steaks, fresh seafood, prime rib, salad bar and cocktails, they’re open daily for dinner.
Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant (970-871-6277)
Offering a rooftop patio, the Rio serves great charbroiled TexMex specialties and legendary margaritas so good they have a limit in a fun, festive atmosphere. Offering daily lunch and weekend brunch specials in addition to a late night menu, they’re open daily from 11 am.
Soda Creek Pizza Company (970-871-1111)
Delivery of gourmet pizzas, calzones, salads and Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream. Whether you want artichoke hearts, sun dried tomatoes and capers or good old pepperoni, they're the ones to call. Fast, hot and local and offer late-night delivery.

Great breakfast and lunch spot downtown featuring an in-house bakery offering world famous cinnamon rolls, assorted muffins, scones, cookies and scrumptious desserts. A local’s favorite featured in Bon Appetite and Gourmet Magazines, they’re open 7 days a week.
8th Street Steakhouse (970-879-3131)
A great family steakhouse in Steamboat that offers a fun family atmosphere and a unique dining experience. Serving affordable steaks, seafood and a 20-item salad bar, it’s the only restaurant in Steamboat that you cook the meat yourself on a lava rock grill. The bar opens daily at 3 pm.
